The power of protection are the books of Srila Prabhupada

The books that imparts the  trancendental wisdom has the power of protection to entire living entities.

Such books are those rendered by Srila Prabhupada into more than eighty languages, the truthful understanding of the Vedic literature.His books has been protecting people of all races who read with posetive attitude, from dwindling into materialistic hedodenism and securing them to the path of divine trancendental acquisition that qualifies one to attain the liberation from repeated birth, aging, diseases and death that modern education and scientific manouver faild to give the right answer. In short, it is protecting one from sin and turn one's life to divine and trancendental happiness over the years. Yet few could really analyse the difference and put them into record.

A Phd student of Michigan Technological University, Ankit Vora felt the divine protection from falling into difficulties during one of his  recent flight from India to USA. He wrote recently on Istaghosti how he was suddenly rescued from falling in the grip of US custom officials.

Being a vegetarin he ordered fruit during his fligt and some fruits he carried for later consumption in his hand bag. US custom rules demands the inflight passengers to declare if they carry any fruit, vegetables and seeds. Vora not knowing the rule in first hand took things easily that eventually cost him more than 300 dollars fine. In the check point he was asked if he carried some fruits in the bag. He was not aware also that in one of his bag he where he carried the books of Srila Prabhupada was an apple too. Because the declaration was not done in time, the officers caught this and summoned to pay the fine. But while looking further the officer happend to touch the books of Prabhupada- Bhagavad Gita As It Is and looked at them with some difference. He was suddenly cooled.

'Normally when US offiers catches some one as a miscreants, they do not leave with out imposing penalty but as soon as the officer saw the foto of Srila Prabhupad on the cover of his books, the officer recognised them as the trancencendal literature. He then immidiately turned into an amicable friend to me and let me go through the check' said Vora, realising that it was actually the protecting power of the books of Prabhupad that he was blessed with as a luck. This fact is just a little drop on a ocean of mercy that Srila Prabhupada left for all to take benefit of. Gautam
