Introduction
When I first began to study the bible, the people I studied with told me that it was wrong for me to be a vegetarian. I have found a common attack by Christians, and even Muslims on vegetarianism goes along the lines of "God said we could eat meat. Are you trying to say you are more merciful than God?" The answer to that question is "surely not", God should be the most merciful being. To help faith-based vegetarians, this article will discuss how vegetarianism relates to the bible, animals, and God. I will be quoting from the NIV translation of the bible, unless otherwise noted.

OPINION
Manav Dharma of Satpalji Maharaj will be better only IF they follow Krishna Consciousness also
By stipulating the spiritual wisdom given in the Vedic literature- the descending order as the perfect one to follow, and commenting that the ascending order of the knowledge produced in this modern time by the people of high social esteem could be imperfect, is not my intention to offend any individuals. Its only to contest against the ascending order of philosophy on the strength of the wisdom that descended from the God- Krishna, namely the Bhagvad Gita- see its As It Is version. I fully appreciate the social work of the Manav dharma cult, as they raise people to the mode of goodness and avoid sinful activities. As well-wisher of them I attempt here to suggest that there is much more to do to attain the goal of life, to get into the paradise. And that is to go beyound the 'manav dharma' and cultivate Krishna consciousness. Being their's well-wisher if I do not point out to them what is best thing to do spiritually, then I would feel obstinate. I faithfully wish for their welfare in this life and beyound- to their souls. Read all here
A preacher of Manav Dharma of Sri Satpalji maharaj, Baiju Dharani - see in this video at Naamhat Boxtel.
Also you will see Viswaroop Das , a vaisnava from disciplic succession. The former stresses on meditating to see the light within as the goal of life and uses the Bhagavad Gita for this purpose only. The later, Vaisnava emphasizes to do bhakti or devotion as the goal of life as revealed in the same Bhagavad Gita. That fact should be what the Lord Krishna said ie. if a Yogi or dhyani meditator or even Gyani- who engages in the transcendental loving service- the Bhakti is highest of all. chapter 6 verse 47 see below.
