Het doel van Vedische Cultureelhuis Naamhat

Ten eerste het doel van Naamhat is het bevorderen van vrede en geestelijke gezondheid van de mensen van alle achtergronden in de plaatselijke niveau. Om deze doel te realiseren is de globale missie van de Internationale Gemeenschap voor Krishna Bewustzijn genomen als de inspiratiebron zoals het gegeven was door zijn oprichter AC Bhaktivedanta Swami Prabhupada.

De zeven doelstellingen van ISKCON (kortom)

 1.    Het stelselmatig overdragen van geestelijke kennis tot werkelijke                    eenheiden vrede in de wereld te komen.
2.    Het uitdragen van het Krishna-bewustzijn,
3.    Het samenbrengen van de leden dichter bij Krishna.
4.    Sankirtan/het gemeenschappelijk chanten van de namen van God,
5.    Het vestigen van een heilige plaats
6.    Natuurlijke levenswijze te propageren.
7.    Het uitgeven en verspreiden van de boeken van Srila Prabhupada.

     Het opzet van ISKCON Centra’s Naamhat  is o.a. deze doelstellingen 
     te waarmaken in zijn plaatselijke niveau 

Het bevorderen van vrede in de maatschappelijke samenleving gerealiseerd wordt door het informeren en onderrichten van de aard van de spirituele bewustwording; dat alle levendwezens een deeltje (zielen) van de almachtige allerhoogste persoonlijkheid Gods Krishna zijn, maar in de verschillende levensvormen en dus behoort iedereen tot een familie van mens. Door het informeren en onderrichten over de Vedische wijsheid verwacht wordt, en ook gerealiseerd wordt dat iedereen zich gaan gedragen aan elkaar als de eenheid van de familie.

Naamhat vormt een kring van Krishna (God) bewust mensen van allerlei etnische, cultureel en geloof achtergronden waarin iedereen is verwelkomd met respect en liefde. Er wordt gezamenlijk de spirituele kracht ontwikkeld door het uitoefenen van de matrayoga: het zingen van Hare Krsna Hare Krsna, Krsna Krsna Hare Hare, Hare Rama Hare Rama, Rama Rama Hare Hare. Daarnaast het onderrichten van het vegetarische opvoeding en zich het devotioneeldienst te verrichten zal uiteindelijke leiden tot het bevorderen van zijn geestelijke gezondheid. Daardoor het doel van de menselijke leven wordt bereikt.

Het Vedische cultureelhuis is onder meer een informeel, vrede onderwijs stelsel gebaseerd op de Vedische wijsheid om de vrede en geestelijke gezondheid te bevorderen. Dit wordt gerealiseerd door het organiseren van het cultureel programma's seminaar, workshop, feest en bijenkomsten in samenwerking met de lokaal maatschappij. 

Naamhat  behartigt de sociaal-culturele en maatschappelijke belangen van mensen uit Azie, ten einde de integratie en participatie van hen in de Nederlandse samenleving te bevorderen. De missie is het streven naar een duurzame samenleving waarin men harmonisch met elkaar samenleeft. Om dit doel te realiseren biedt Naamhat  op sociaal-cultureel, maatschappelijk en educatief platform waarin mensen van Oost en West aan elkaar kan komen en de spirituele gelukzaligheid te genieten.

NAAMHAT

History

Naamhat is a home level Vedic Cultural institute promulgated in the early 16th Century during the time of the Lord Krishna's appearance in the modern era in the mood of a devotee as Lord Caitanya. In order to glorify the Lord's teachings of the Sanatana dharma- the eternal religion, the dearest associate of the Lord Nitya Nanda established the system of Vedic congregational programs named Naamhat. Such programs were organised at the homes of the aspirant devotees. This is being continued in the Gaudiya Vaisnavan traditions and expanded by Srila Prabhupada in the Western countries as part of ISKCON.

Naamhat in Boxtel was started in August 2002 providing a small hall as the public place, a home temple for every visitors. According to the Vedic wisdom, guest or visitors should be treated in equal terms as to God or His representatives. This principle is followed here.Special care and attention is given to elderly persons and children.

Programs

Vedic cultural programs is held every 3rd Saturdays of the month. A saintly person with knowledge of the Vedic literature like Bhagavad Gita will be there to explain in thematic ways and provide answers to the vistors. Devotional severice method wil shown practically in groups. Finally vegetarian meal as prasad is served to all the visitors to their fullest content. The programs begins at 16hrs and ends with the dinner at about 18hrs. Everything is served for free with love and care however donation is always welcomed.

Source of inspiration

Books rendered by Srila Prabhupada namely Bhagavad Gita As It Is and others forms the basis elements of peaceful discourse.

Paricipation

In this program everyone irrespective of their background, faith and religion are welcomed.This is in reality a cultural program reviving the Vedic civilization and one learns here the devotional service, ways to nurture children in shaping their physical, psychological and emotional behaviour in line with the peaceful coexistence value of the society, vegetarian cooking, music and many more.

Benefit

The benifit of the participation to this Naamhat to the society and to the individuals is numerous and in different ways. It helps one understand the self and the world ar large and learns to deal with others peacefully. Self realization is the central achievement.If someone is a Hindu, he/she can become a better Hindu. If someone is Christian, Moslim or Buddhist, he can become better practitioner or better Christian, Moslim or Buddhist. This is because one learns the devotional service to the absolute and the absolute truth, the divine, the God- Krishna is neither Hindu, Christian or Moslim, nor blackman, whiteman or of any caste system. One attains peace in mind and will be happy. Through the prasad one's health will also improve. One has to come and participate then only its benefit will be known as the proof of the pudding is in the eating.

Organisors

I,Nanda Gautam and Chandra, organise every 3rd Saturday of every month Vedic cultural program; bhajan, kritan and Bhagavad Gita discourse for your spiritual health and happiness.
