His Holiness Bhakti Caru Swami Maharaj has been conducting retreats worldwide every year. It is more than a retreat, an opportunity to learn the vedic wisdom, be in the association of devotees from all over the world, take wonderful prasad and enliven your life with spiritual health and happiness. ISKCON Namahatta in Boxtel neemt de terugblik van zijn activiteiten van het afgelopen jaar 2012-13  in zijn 3 e zaterdag programma van deze maand. De 12 e jaargang van de Naamhat is nu begonnen. Naamhat Deities ‘Ten eerste, help de mensen in je omgeving. Daarna denk je aan anderen te helpen’. Dit was de opdracht van Zijne Heiligheid Sri Bhakti Caru Swami Maharaj in de jaar 2002 toen ik voor de tweede keer hem mag begroeten. Hij vertelde aan mij dat de beste help je kunt aanbieden aan de mensen is het geven van de gelegenheid voor Krishna bewustzijn. Er is geen andere hogere welzijn aangelegenheid dan het Krishna bewustzijn. Ook Mahavishnu Swami en Navayogendra Swami Maharaj vertelde mij hetzelfde. In this modern age, the problem of every kind are caused due to men's forgetfulness or ignorance of sin. What can be called as sin and why one should not commit sin is the issuse ignored in the modern academic pursuit. Ignorance or forgetfulness of this vital norm is the cause of all the problems, like terrorism, human rights violations, environmental pollution etc. In other words, people's disinterest in transcendental knowledge as mentioned truely in The Bhagavad Gita and such holy scriptures. This was discussed in the montlhly Vedic cultural program in the first month of the year. However one can be very sinful that accumulates through the the violation of natural laws and societal norms like killing, eating meat, illicit sex and hurting others which will eventually result to bad reactions- every action has equal and opposit reaction, as scientists say, getting bad reactioins will be quickly avoided if one believes and surrenders to the Lord Krsna.
