The saviour of the world- Prabhupada's legacy

On the occasion of Srila Prabhupada's Tirobhava Mahotsava 2012, here is a letter which HH Bhakti Charu Swami wrote for all the dear disciple children of His Divine Grace Srila Prabhupada

Please accept my best wishes. All glories to Srila Prabhupada.

Just a few days before Srila Prabhupada left this world, two very important personalities came to see him. They were the ex-Governor of Madras, Sriman Narayana, and his brother-in-law Ram
krishna Bajaj, the head of Bajaj Industries. They asked Srila Prabhupada whom he would appoint as his successor. His Divine Grace replied that he was not going to appoint any successor. He was giving his legacy to all his disciples – whoever followed would receive that legacy.


 In this way Srila Prabhupada made it very clear that those who will follow his instructions will carry his legacy. This legacy is the mission of Sri Chaitanya Mahaprabhu – the mission of spreading Krishna Consciousness all over the world in every town and village. This inconceivable prediction of Sri Chaitanya Mahaprabhu - no matter how impossible it may sound - will become a reality, because the words of the Supreme Personality of Godhead never go in vain.


Srila Prabhupada made this prediction into a reality by taking Sri Chaitanya Mahaprabhu’s sankirtan movement and spreading it throughout the world. In due course of time, this movement has to spread further - literally to every town and village. It is an incredible task and it needs the sincere efforts of many, many devotees over an extended period of time. And Srila Prabhupada is inviting all to join this wonderful mission of Sri Chaitanya Mahaprabhu.

 That is the legacy that Srila Prabhupada has left to his followers. Those who are sincere will take this mission upon themselves, and as a result their lives will become successful.

In elke maand zijn er twee Ekadasi. Ekadasi betekent letterlijk de 11e van de dag voor volle maan en nieuwe maan. Deze dag is ook als een Madhava tithi genoemd, de favorite dag van de Heer Krishna. Om  Ekadasi  volledig na te leven, zoals Ambarisha Maharaja dat deed, is erg zeldzaam. We zouden het zo moeten proberen te doen, maar worden beïnvloedt door dit huidige tijdperk, Kali- yuga . The time to harvest the spiritual and the material yeilds - Kartik

The auspicious month of Kartik, (8th October to 19th November) more popular known as the Month of Damodara, is here once again heralding the spiritually enlivening ‘Festival of Lights’. Loving Exchanges with my Dear Godbrothers‏- HH Bhakti Caru Swami Maharaj

6/6/13 Santa Barbara, USA, .  Dear Devotees,  Please accept my best wishes. All glories to Srila Prabhupada. A few days ago when I got to know that H.H. Giriraj Swami Maharaja was in Santa Barbara I decided to cut short my visit to Sacramento by one day and visit him. My initial plan was to spend two days with my very dear godbrother Udayananda Prabhu in Sacramento. When I informed him of my change of plan, he was not at all happy but when I explained the reason he understood my need to visit Giriraj Maharaja. Fortunately H.H. Indradyumna Swami Maharaja was also present with Giriraj Maharaja. He spends one month every year in Santa Barbara to prepare himself for his Polish tour. It was indeed a spiritual retreat to meet these two very exalted devotees and very dear disciples of Srila Prabhupada.
