INVITATION

Celebrating 10th year of Naamhat in Boxtel,  progressively integrating the Vedic culture and sharing the transcendental happiness.

Everyone is hankering for the happiness. This is an essential commodity but how to pursue happiness is materially understood as the matter of sense gratification only. But that pursuent has not resulted to happiness because the senses never get satisfied. Is there an another way?. Yes, there is better way to pursue happiness or joy.
This will be explained on 24th July by His Holiness Bhakti Caru Swami in The Netherlands.
His Holiness is in the renounced order of life dedicated to foster world peace and universal brotherhood. He is also recognised for his contribution to the United Nations in its efforts for the Middle East Peace process. His messages are based on Vedas and reveals in its true sense. Cultivating this Vedic wisdom as taught by His Holiness will enable the world live in peaceful communal harmoney. The approach is scientific so much so that the science of the soul when understood opens up the path for trancendental happiness.

The Vedic cultural program widely known in 15th century as Naamhat and promulgated worldwide by ISKCON was first started in August 2002 by a Bhutanese refugee couple in The Netherlands, Boxtel. Its a great pleasure to celebrate this tenth year with His Holiness on 24th July 2012.

Yours in the service of your spiritual happiness and divinity.

  1. Lord Krishna's & Srila Prabhupada's arrangements are inconceivable. A journalist gets kicked out of his Bhutan home country because of an intense
Kali-yuga political climate. Through the help of Amnesty International and some very nice people he finds shelter at the other end of the world in Holland. He meets with the Hare Krishna devotees and becomes thoroughly impressed by the process of Krishna Consciousness. He and his wife become initiated disciples of His Holiness Bhakti Charu Swami : Vrajendra Suta Dasa
and Gopa Kanya Dasi. Hardly speaking the local language first and practically without any means they start preaching Krishna Consciousness
from their home apartment in Boxtel, Holland. Whatever they manage to do for Krishna they do it with full enthusiastic spirit : worshipping their home Deities and engaging their children in it, organizing preaching programs every third Saturday of the month, distributing Srila Prabhupada's books, distributing prasadam. You go there and you feel a peace as if you were
bathing in the Ganga near the Himalayas. One always hears Srila Prabhupada's recorded chanting of the Hare Krishna mantra in their griha/ashrama. There you get to taste delicious prasadam prepared with vegetables they grow
themselves. You feel such a loving atmosphere which is wonderfully reflected in their three joyous and bright kids: Keshavi, Vrinda and Vrajanatha. While staying at their home with Guru Maharaja on past Tuesday I thought and
mentioned to His Divine Grace : "If one wants to find out about the strength of Krishna Conscious Culture, he should visit Namahatta Boxtel. Anyone talking about crisis has to come and experience it: there simply is no crisis in such a sustained Krishna Conscious atmosphere."

Tuesday 24 July 2012, we celebrated 10 years Namahatta Boxtel. A really unique experience with about 60 visitors and many new faces. Thouroughly pleased with the sincerity of Vrajendra Suta Prabhu and his family, Guru
Maharaja gave such a wonderful, attractive lecture, another inconceivable gift to a fully appreciating public. And again we feasted on the tasty prasadam cooked by Vrajendra Suta Prabhu himself.

All glories to such a wonderful Krishna Conscious family!
All glories to Sri Guru and Sri Gauranga!
    All glories to Srila Prabhupada!
    Hare Krishna

The time to harvest the spiritual and the material yeilds - Kartik

The auspicious month of Kartik, (8th October to 19th November) more popular known as the Month of Damodara, is here once again heralding the spiritually enlivening ‘Festival of Lights’. Its the month for harvesting material yeild from the corn, maize and barley field and also harvest the stpiritual wealth by devotional service to Damodar. Mother Yasoda bound little mischievous Krishna with ropes to the grinding mortar for having stolen butter and thus He came to be known as Damodara. The significance is in that the Lord of the Universe can be bound only by the rope of pure love. During thus Damodara month, devotees get the opportunity to personally offer Arati to Lord Damodara with ghee lamps and sing the very enchanting ‘Damodara astakam’, to receive the special mercy of the Lord. The Glories Of Kartik month “Pure devotional service to Me which, because it places Me under My devotee’s dominion, is very difficult to attain, is easily attained by following this vow in Mathura dur
