Vyas puja ceremoney honouring Sri Guru His Holiness Bhakti Caru Swami Maharaj in Boxtel.

Please come to Naamhat Boxtel for the Vyas Ceremony on 17th September.

The Vedic culture encourages to owe respect to the teachers. Besides parents there is not a single person who is magnanimous than a the teacher who gives the spiritual wisdom. By pursuing the spiritual wisdom one's human form of life will be successful.

To celebrate the greatness of the one who has imparted the spiritual wisdom- the Sruti and Smrita sastra, tradition has been kept to celebrate the Vyas puja. These sastra was imparted by jotting into the Devnagarik letters by Vyasa Deva making it easy and accessible to anyone interested. Commemorating his name Vyas puja is held on Ashad purnima, the full moon day in July/August. This day is also known as the Guru purnima. Sri Vyasa Deva is the original teacher believed to be one of the incarnation of the Lord. Buddhist also celebrate this day as in memory of the first sermon Lord Buddha gave at Saranath upon his enlightenment.

Besides this tradition of respecting such a divine personality, Vyas puja is also celebrated to show the gratitude and indebtedness to the spiritual masters by the respective initiated and aspirant disciples. The disciples celebrates this day as the Vyas puuja on the birth day of their spiritual masters.

In this modern time, marked by war and distress everyday, the contribution for the universal brother/sisterhood and world peace by His Holiness Bhakti Caru Swami remain unpaid by any means of auspicious celebrations. His Holiness has appeared before us on 17th September 1945 in the present day Bangladesh. His Holiness attributes the Vyas puja celebrations by his disciples honouring him, to his own Spiritual master His Divine Grace AC Bhaktivedanta Swami Prabhupada's arrival in USA. It is His arrival in 1965 the world has the hope for the spiritual harmoney and world peace.

Vyas puja on 17th September will be held in the Naamhat Boxtel in The Netherlands. Meanwhile this puja will be held in presence of His Holiness in South Africa.

Everyone of you are warmly welcomed to the Naamhat Boxtel on 17th September.

Let us together show our love and respect to our spiritual master who has given his life for the welfare of the entire world citizens.

HH Jayapataka Maharaj I was very fortunate to have a long and intimate association with His Holiness Jayapataka Swami Maharaja since I joined ISKCON. Undoubtedly he is one of the most exemplary leaders of ISKCON today. With the sincerity he is serving Srila Prabhupada is extremely praiseworthy. As a matter of fact ever since he met Srila Prabhupda he offered himself completely to his service and the way he is serving him till today is a wonderful example for all of us. In the early days in Mayapur there were not so many devotees. Therefore, we had the oportunity to have a very close relationship with each other. Although he was the leader of Maypur, he was very humble and carin
