Nitya Nanda Triyodashi that fell on 28th January this year, is the commemorating day that began more than six centuries ago when the supreme personality of Godhead Sri Krishna appeared as a devotee in the mood of Radha with his entourage. The emminent among the entourage was Sri Nitya Nanda prabhu. He is also understood as Sri Sesha in the Vedic satyayug, Laxman in the century of Sri Ram and Baladev in Dwaper yug when Krishna the supreme God descended from his spiritual abode- Golok galaxy to this material universe, in His original transcendental form. To glorify Sri Krishna's pasttimes Nityananda established a system of kirtan called sankirtan that embraces men of all races and faiths to gloryfy the supremem God collectively.
Srila Prabhupada brought that tradition of sankirtan, the yuga dharma of this age to the western world in the late 20th century. He built 108 temples arround the world. He wrote many vedic literatures, one of which the Bhagavad Gita As It Its is being used as the text book in many universities in America. This Gita is translated into more than 80 languages.
One of the pure followers of Srila Prabhupada, His Holiness Bhakti Caru Swami continued this legacy of sankirtana yagya arround the world, lifting the fallen souls to the transcendentale platform. On this Nityananda tryodasi day in 2005 His Holiness initiated the construction of a temple in the heart of India, Ujjain. One year later he inaugurated that temple in a grand way. This endeavour, a spiritual home accomodates the world where everybody can live in very happily.
