Dear Devotees,

We hope that you are happily situated in Krishna consciousness.

We are delighted to invite you to the ‘Srila Prabhupada Memorial Festival and 71st Vyasa Puja of His Holiness Bhakti Charu Swami’ at ISKCON Ujjain from 12th to 18th September 2016.
17th September is the day when Srila Prabhupada arrived in America to spread Krishna Consciousness throughout the world, and H.H. Bhakti Charu Swami honours Srila Prabhupada on this date, whilst also allowing devotees to celebrate Maharaj’s own birthday. We are expecting hundreds of devotees and we will be putting up a large tent for the festival.

Additionally Maharaj will give a 4-day seminar prior to the festival. This seminar is in lieu of the regular annual retreat, hence there will be no annual retreat in December this year.
Please share this with other devotees who may be interested in attending.

We are very much looking forward to serving you at the Festival.
The registration deadline extended to 15th August 2016
Everyone must register and have a ticket in his/her own name – including adults, children, students, visiting brahmacharis, local devotees etc.

In elke maand zijn er twee Ekadasi. Ekadasi betekent letterlijk de 11e van de dag voor volle maan en nieuwe maan. Deze dag is ook als een Madhava tithi genoemd, de favorite dag van de Heer Krishna. Om  Ekadasi  volledig na te leven, zoals Ambarisha Maharaja dat deed, is erg zeldzaam. We zouden het zo moeten proberen te doen, maar worden beïnvloedt door dit huidige tijdperk, Kali- yuga . Maharaja Ambarisha leefde in Satya- yuga , en hij was zo sterk dat hij een jaar lang zou hebben kunnen vasten zonder te slapen, terwijl hij op één been zou staan, zonder water te drinken of zelfs maar adem te halen. In Kali- yuga  zijn we echter noch sterk noch vergevorderd; maar we zijn toch fortuinlijk. The auspicious month of Kartik, (8th October to 19th November) more popular known as the Month of Damodara, is here once again heralding the spiritually enlivening ‘Festival of Lights’. Its the month for harvesting material yeild from the corn, maize and barley field and also harvest the stpiritual wealth by devotional service to Damodar. Loving Exchanges with my Dear Godbrothers‏- HH Bhakti Caru Swami Maharaj

6/6/13 Santa Barbara, USA, .  Dear Devotees,  Please accept my best wishes. All glories to Srila Prabhupada. A few days ago when I got to know that H.H. Giriraj Swami Maharaja was in Santa Barbara I decided to cut short my visit to Sacramento by one day and visit him. My initial plan was to spend two days with my very dear godbrother Udayananda Prabhu in Sacramento. When I informed him of my change of plan, he was not at all happy but when I explained the reason he understood my need to visit Giriraj Maharaja. Fortunately H.H. Indradyumna Swami Maharaja was also present with Giriraj Maharaja. He spends one month every year in Santa Barbara to prepare himself for his Polish tour. It was indeed a spiritual retreat to meet these two very exalted devotees and very dear disciples of Srila Prabhupada.
