Jhulan is a playful entertainment of the Lord krishna in Vrindhavan observing which marks the begining of the Naamhat mandir in Boxtel, Netherlands on the Pavitropana ekadasi day of every year that falls in the 3rd week of August, ie 19th this year. The purpose of of organising every 3rd Saturdays the Vedic cultural program is to facilitate everyone irrespective of their faith and background to develop devotion and spirituality with the understanding that the God is one and everyone is part and parcel of God, whatever name people may call Him according to their language and understanding. The program intends to help Bhutanese and Nepalese people in The Netherlands in particular, for their healthy integration and preservation of the Vedic aspect of their culture. However accept few elderly people many remaind aloof of this facilities owing to their perosonal prejudices and influence of a few atheistic politicians at the moment.
