Everyone is in search of peace and happiness. In pursuit if this they, the convert into another forms religion, but the true formula for peace and happiness is already given in the vedic scriptures. This was the message given at the vedic cultural program on 3rd Saturday of March 2010 in Boxtel. More than 30 people participated in the program led by Sri Viswaroop prabhu.
To attain peace, one has to consider three things: ie try to realize who you are, who God is, and what your relation or duty towards God. In simple words, one has to understand that everyone is part and parcel of God. Being a part, the duty s to serve the whole- that is to God with loving devotional service. Through that understanding and the service rendered in love, one derives happiness. Now, one has to understand who God is. Many leteratures and philosophers and preachers from differnt platform and faith has defined God differently. Owing to this the whole purpose of religious pursuis is misled. God is indeed one without a second. There is only one God but people from their own background and faith understands differently. The definition through which one recognise God is given in the vedic script: Parasarasukta that is put down into words by the sage Parasamuni about more than five thousand years ago. Vedic wisdom was there from the begining of the creation and remained as Sabdabrahma, or in other words as supreme sound. The son of Parasamuni- the Ved Vyas brought them into letters of devanagari in view to let the modern people undersand it easily because they are bereft of memory and realization. The one who has simultaniously all wealth, all beauty, all power, all wisdom, all oppulence and yet detached from all these; is to be recognised as God. There is no one who possess all these simultaniously. When Krsna in the Mahabharat told Arjun that He is the supreme God, Arjun requested to show the proof. Krsna revealed another form of his which is the universal form where evey creation is rooted. Therefore the truth is that to find peace and happiness in this present life and the life after, and also to make one's human form of life successful, it is imperative to turn into vedic wisdom. This was revealed in the program with rciting a verse from Srimad Bhagavatam. The participants had answers to their questions and left after dinned in a very transcendental mood. Gautam.
