Nitya Nanda Triyodashi that fell on 28th January this year, is the commemorating day that began more than six centuries ago when the supreme personality of Godhead Sri Krishna appeared as a devotee in the mood of Radha with his entourage. The emminent among the entourage was Sri Nitya Nanda prabhu. He is also understood as Sri Sesha in the Vedic satyayug, Laxman in the century of Sri Ram and Baladev in Dwaper yug when Krishna the supreme God descended from his spiritual abode- Golok galaxy to this material universe, in His original transcendental form.  To glorify Sri Krishna's pasttimes Nityananda established a system of kirtan called sankirtan that embraces men of all races and faiths to gloryfy the supremem God collectively. Srila Prabhupada brought that tradition of sankirtan, the yuga dharma of this age to the western world in the late 20th century. He built 108 temples arround the world. In this modern age, the problem of every kind are caused due to men's forgetfulness or ignorance of sin. What can be called as sin and why one should not commit sin is the issuse ignored in the modern academic pursuit. Ignorance or forgetfulness of this vital norm is the cause of all the problems, like terrorism, human rights violations, environmental pollution etc. In other words, people's disinterest in transcendental knowledge as mentioned truely in The Bhagavad Gita and such holy scriptures. This was discussed in the montlhly Vedic cultural program in the first month of the year. However one can be very sinful that accumulates through the the violation of natural laws and societal norms like killing, eating meat, illicit sex and hurting others which will eventually result to bad reactions- every action has equal and opposit reaction, as scientists say, getting bad reactioins will be quickly avoided if one believes and surrenders to the Lord Krsna. A Belgian vaisnava devotee, Lalassamayi saw the Lord Krishna last Sunday personally and went with Him back to the spiritual kingdom of God. At the time of leaving her body, she streched her hands to touch something that others did not see. Another devotee attending her, asked if she has seen something. Lalassamayi replied replied: ' yes can't you see! here Krishna has come'. She narrated that she saw bright light in the room that made her turn towards it. And there was Krishna himself, came to take His pure devotee back to Golok- the top most universe in the spiritual realm. Thus the facts as is told in the Bhagavad Gita 4.9 never fails. Sri Krishna said to Arjun thus: janma karma ca me divyam, evam yo vetti tattvatah, tyaktva deham punar janma naiti mam eti so 'rjuna. This means One who knows the transcendental nature of My appearance and activities does not, upon leaving the body, take his birth again in this material world, but attains My eternal abode, O Arjuna.L
