Vandaag 23-07-14, de zesde dag na de Malaysian vliegramp met de MH17 in Oekraïne, de dag waarop de eerste 40 lichamen van de 298 slachtoffers terugkwamen in Nederland hereneer we als de Nederlandse Dag van Nationale Rouw van deze eeuw.

We delen het verdriet met de rest van de wereld en spreken we uit van onze hart het bovenzinnelijke lettergreep - Hare Krishna Hare Krishna Krishna Krishna Hare Hare. Hare Rama Hare Rama Rama Rama Hare Hare, een eerbied ter bevrijding van de zielen die door de vliegramp, ontijdig en op tragische toestand, moesten zijn lichaam verlaten.

Vandaag om 16.00 uur, toen de twee vliegtuigen met de slachtoffers aankwamen op vliegbasis Eindhoven, stond heel Nederland een minuut stil voor de slachtoffers.

Na de aankomst ging een colonne met rouwwagens over de snelweg naar Hilversum, waar de lichamen worden geïdentificeerd.

Later op de avond waren er bijeenkomsten, zoals de stille tocht in Amsterdam en de grote kerkdienst in Amersfoort.

Met het geklaarde boter lamp aan de Heer namens de slachtoffer, staan we Hare Krishna Gemeenschap bij Naamhat Boxtel met anderen en wens dat dergelijke tragische ramp mag nooit gebeuren tegen niemand.
