HH Bhakti Prema Swami Maharaj Lecture given by His Holiness Bhakti Prema Swami Maharaj 22 July 2016, Naamhat Boxtel, The Netherlands Excerpts: see video below Today we are remembering the disappearance of the mother Ranmaya Gautam of Vrajendra family and we are as well celebrating the appearance of her’s grand son.  I was requested to speak about life after death, but before we speak about that we should actually first know about life itself and how appearance and disappearance are connected. Let’s say I am in the train and someone asks me: “Where are you going?” and I say: “I don’t know”. Then the person asks: “Where did you come from?” And again I say: “I don’t know”. What kind of situation is this, normal or abnormal? Yes, we say this situation is abnormal. You don’t know where you came from nor do you know where you are going. One might say: “this person is in need of treatment!” If I say: “Okay you are 45 years old now. Where were you 45 years ago?” He says:

Mother Ranmaya Gautam Please help me to help the departed soul of my mother get admission in the supreme abode of the Lord.  Collective endeavour yealds better results.  Its the Vedic culture to get together in the house of the deceased during the first 13 days of purifcation process and on the concluding ceremony on the 45th day.  The 45th or the last day to offer prayers in favour of my mother is planned  on 22nd June, Wednesday evening  18:00hrs onwards. I request everyone who know me and my family members, please forgive me for any offenses and leaving any prejudices kindly come to share this sentiments at this difficult time and pray collectively for the salvation of my mother Ranmaya Gautam. Bhaktivedanta Manor marked the start of a new chapter in its history on Friday 10th June, as the groundbreaking ceremony for the long awaited Haveli building was led by UK Prime Minister David Cameron.  The ceremony formed part of the Manor’s offerings to celebrate the 50th anniversary of ISKCON, upon which Mr Cameron heartily congratulated ISKCON on by praising Srila Prabhupada on his creation of a “global mission”. A reception of over 300 people, including Parliamentary Secretary Under State Shailesh Vara, devotees and patrons, was held in a marquee over the spot where the new Shree Krishna Haveli will be built. HH Bhakti Charu Swami, HH Radhanath Swami, HH Sivarama Swami and HG Praghosa Das GBC were also in attendance.
